Toby Veit

Toby Veit is the Chief Investment Officer for Vermilion Development and is a member of the Investment Committee. In his role, he oversees the execution of the company’s investment strategy and is responsible for managing the firm’s capital relationships.
Toby brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development, investment and capital raising, having completed over $2 billion in transactions/projects in multiple sectors including multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, retail, office and medical. Most recently, he was a VP of Development and Officer for Ryan Companies US, Inc. where he oversaw multifamily development for the Great Lakes Region. While at Ryan Companies, Toby also spent time on the Capital Markets team raising equity and debt for new developments across the country.
Toby holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in Finance and Management & Strategy, and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. Toby is a member of NAIOP Chicago and is on the NAIOP Real Estate Investment and Development 1 Forum. He is also a board member for the Kellogg Real Estate Alumni Network (KREAN) and active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA).
