Ari Parritz joined Vermilion Development in September 2016 as a Development Associate. At Vermilion, Ari focuses on the firm’s market-rate multifamily platform as well as its affordable assisted living platform. He is responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting and due diligence, market research, project management, and product strategy.
Ari began his career in 2010 as a management consultant with Deloitte and has since worked across a variety of real estate disciplines, including corporate real estate consulting (at Deloitte), finance, leasing, and portfolio management at Forest City Ratner in Brooklyn, and acquisitions and underwriting with Hudson Advisors / Lone Star Funds in Chicago.
Ari is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy. He earned a Masters of Business Administration with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, received the “Top Student” award from the real estate department, and served as co-president of the Kellogg Real Estate Club. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Jewish United Fund’s Young Real Estate Group. He has also served in a number of non-profit capacities and is currently a Director of the Hornik Family Foundation.
